If you have ever stood before the sea and marveled at its beauty, and asked yourself, I wonder what it is like beneath the surface; then you and I have a lot in common. Let me help you see the wonders beneath the surface and allow you to preserve some of the treasures that I have found. My work focuses on the behaviors, personalities, and visages below the surface.
For much of my life, I told stories in courtrooms — through testimony, evidence, and narrative. Now I share with my collectors images from the sea and use light, color, and texture to tell their stories. My goal is simple: to invite you to see what I’ve seen, to feel the connection I’ve felt — and to help inspire awe, appreciation, and a deeper care for the natural world.

THE PROCESS
Bringing an idea to life through art begins long before the Shutter Opens.
Inspiration can strike in the smallest of moments—a shadow dancing across a reef wall, the interaction between or among reef animals or the quiet stillness of the moment underwater. For me, the process is one of observation and patience, waiting for the right alignment of light, emotion, and space.
